Create both a virtual reality and augmented reality headset into one. Implementing emerging technologies to make a sleek, light weight headset.

Functionality

 

In Virtual Reality Mode (VR), the outer lens of the glasses become frosted blocking out light from bleeding into the glasses. The lens also increase depth by stacking images on both lenses.

In Augmented Reality Mode (AR), the outer lens of the glasses become clear, allowing the user to see straight through. The user can then invite friends to join their chat room, which is held in the AR users location, allowing them to see each other in AR.

The Synth VR comes paired with a wireless charging case. The charging case can be place next to a window to absorb solar energy, charging the case and headset, by using the miniature solar panels attached to the top of the case. If the user would not like to use this feature, there’s also a USB type-C charging port located on the back of the case.
